So this is that witty first post that’s supposed to be stimulating enough to keep you around to read more. It probably won’t be, and I’ll likely end up exporting this to the “About” section anyway, but here goes!

Who are you? My name is Chelle (that’s short for Rachelle) and I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

What’s this site about? Well… let’s call it a lifestyle blog. For the past few years I’ve been wanting to make somewhat of a repository for the makeup (primarily eyeshadow) looks that I’ve come up with over the years. I like using others for inspiration and thought maybe I could also provide some inspiration. That being said, I don’t just want to talk about makeup and products as I have a bit of a passion for exercise and, more recently, weight lifting.

When? I expect to be posting three times a week, although I haven’t determined a set schedule, we’ll see how it goes.

And your title comes from? I’ve been wanting to make this site for something like two years. And it took me TWO YEARS to come up with the damn name! Inspiration struck a month or so ago when I was trying to (outloud) figure out what sounded good with “makeup”. Annoyed, I told myself to “makeup your mind”. You could almost see the lightbulb go off over my head, cartoon-style. I rushed to my computer and started looking up domains. Makeup-Your-Mind.net was the closest, cleanest version I could get (those rat bastards over at Nars actually *stole* makeupyourmind.com. It’s like they knew I was coming. Just ignore the fact that they actually registered that domain in 2003.)
