Hey everyone! Just a quick update to say that I’ve so far managed to recover 40% of my posts from Google Cache. I’ve still got the remaining 60% to get through, but I’m really happy that at least a chunk of my work is back online (although not all of your lovely comments 🙁 ). I know some people may be wondering why bother rebuilding the old stuff instead of just moving forward with new content, but the reality is that not everyone who reads my site comes through the front page. My blog often shows up when searched for different things (like foundation swatches, palette roundups, etc.) and that drives a ton of my traffic. Anyway, I’m getting there! New content should be up by the end of this week. Thank you so much for all of your support via comments and messages – it’s really kept me going!
If you’re looking to keep more up to date with me while I get everything back online, you can find me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. 🙂
Ugh, I’m so sorry you had to go through this. I guess we should say YAY for Google Cache! I hear you about getting your previous posts back up and would totally do the same. Some of my most popular posts are from 2 years ago.

Ditto on the popular posts! I wouldn’t be comfortable moving forward without my arsenal of posts behind me at all.
I am so glad the blog is on recovery. Past posts are definitely worth retrieving, they were your hard work, and like you said great information source. Good luck with getting them all back!
Thank you!!! I also feel like they’re my credibility too you know? Otherwise a brand would think I’m totally new to this!
I’m so happy that you got at least 40% back. That’s so hard to deal with and I’m sure you’re putting a lot of hours into getting it all back. I really hope you’re successful in getting it ALL back! Either way, we’re all here to support you! 🙂

I definitely looked up that milia post yesterday and am going to get a sample of the Dr Brandt tomorrow.
