Just like last month, I picked up the Bite Beauty 250-point perk from Sephora. The limited edition colour featured in October is called Kir Royale (they’re still sticking with the cocktail names!). Kir Royale is a wine-berry shade in a creme finish.
What I’m loving about these 250-point perk releases is that they give you an opportunity to try the shade and, if you like it enough, you can buy the full size. (As a note, the previous limited releases Bellini and Mimosa are still available on Sephora’s site, so they don’t sell out super fast!)
The Kir Royale lipstick has the usual wonderful texture and Wild Berry scent that all traditional Bite lipsticks have. It glides on the lips easily and wears evenly for several hours (considering the creaminess, I’m always amazed by how long these lipsticks last).
While I do really pick up these 250-point perks for the lipstick, the gloss is always nice to have although not something I’ll wear often.
Beautiful pigmentation on both of these products – you won’t have any problem getting colour onto your lips!
The mirror is roughly the size of a button you’d pin on your shirt, but it’s invaluable. I now keep these little guys everywhere for when I need to take a quick peek at my makeup.
And here’s how the Kir Royale lipstick looks on me. I really, really enjoy the colour as it’s reminiscent of Too Faced Melted Berry – one of my favourite lip colours to wear during the colder months.
And here’s a close up shot so you can see more of the colour. It pulls more red on me than I expected, but I’m not bothered since it’s such a gorgeous shade.

I feel like I heard it was a three month special and so there is none in November but…I hope I’m wrong cause it’s such a cool concept! This shade is perfect on you, it’s gorgeous for fall.

Ohh I’m kinda glad I didn’t get it – I have another bite product really similar to this. I thought it’d be more purple. That being said – it’s beautiful on you!!

Yeah it’s gorgeous, but I don’t feel it’s especially unique. Worth owning if you love their formula though!

I was considering hoarding them, but with the Epic Fails every year, I know there’s no way in hell I’ll actually get anything huge with the points. So yeah… I’m more than happy to spend it on these little sample packs! Are you saving up for anything in particular?
I like when they have makeup 500 point perks. The last one I got was Laura Mercier and it was rad.

AGREED! The last one I saw that I wanted was a Bobbi Brown one, that was within the last couple of weeks, but I’m trying to be a good girl and not do any Sephora ordering at the moment.

I’ve never tried anything from BITE but I remember Julie telling me about how awesome their lipsticks are! This shade looks awesome on you, it’s like a fuchsia shade. Very pretty.
