We are in fullfledged holiday makeup season folks. I’m doing my best to swatch what I’ve bought and get several looks up for each palette, but my god – it’s A LOT OF STUFF.
This palette is the Urban Decay Vice 4 palette for the 2015 holiday season. I don’t think there’s a soul out there that wasn’t in awe of the packaging. The original promo shot released online was more of a rainbow, but as it turns out, each palette is coloured slightly differently on the front. I imagine that no two are alike, as so far I’ve seen very differently coloured palettes online.
Enjoy the Urban Decay Vice 4 swatches! A challenge week will be coming up but not for several more weeks as I’m currently working through the Urban Decay Urban Spectrum palette!
the colors here feel very boho summer to me. not sure i can create as many combos as vice 3 (really glad i picked that one up)

Vice 3 was definitely my favourite and Vice 4 can’t even hold a candle to that one. Agreed on the colours… it’s a very weird mix for a holiday palette (and not one I’m super keen on too if I’m honest).
This palette does look like a mixed bag of so-so shades. Nothing too exciting and I agree, the previous Vice palette has so much more to offer than this one.

Totally got suckered in by the packaging. 🙁
The colours are pretty and seem to have good pigmentation, but I’m not sure what I would do with them – I need a few more neutrals. 🙂

I haven’t worn any of the shades in this palette yet, but I kind of feel like a lot of those plum and green shades are going to come out very, very neutral in the end.
This post came at the perfect time! I was seriously contemplating getting this palette. Now that urban decay has their Canadian site up and running, it’s so tempting. Love how I feel like I might be able to pull off a lot of these colours. Other vice palettes have scared me in the past, but thinking I might take the plunge with this one!

Yay! Glad to help! There’s a lot of wearable colours in this palette (which is probably kind of why I’m like… mehhhhh…. about it). But I know it’ll work for a lot of people!
OH WOWZA. I LOVE some of the shades in there! If only all the teal/blue/green/neutral shades from all the Vice palettes were in one palette! I’m in love with grass hopper, c-note, artic and delete! Can’t wait to see the looks you do with this!

I’m still working through the Urban Decay Urban Spectrum for the next week, but I can’t wait to dig my brush into this one! I’m all about those two bottom left side oranges! 😀
Individually there really are some beautiful shades here…. together it is just such a mess 🙁 serious sad panda…

You and I are so in the same boat with this palette. Definitely the saddest of pandas. 🙁
