An often overlooked brand, the Sephora house brand (also called Sephora) regularly puts out new palettes every few seasons. Holiday 2015 was no different, and they released the Wonderful Dreams palette – an 8-pan, travel friendly palette.
The palette contains four mattes and four shimmers. This is an absolute god-send in a palette this small as I often feel mattes are overlooked far too frequently. (For example, even the legendary Urban Decay Naked palettes only have two matte shades in a 12-pan palette!)

Oooh this is pretty much the perfect palette! The mattes and the shimmers and the diversity of shades – perfect!

For such a tiny palette, I have to agree. I was surprised at how much I love these neutrals!
I love the packaging of this palette and it has some really nice shades! I’m not usually a fan of Sephora’s eye palettes but I want this one now 🙂

The packaging is SO CUTE! I wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did, but I love the way it snaps shut from both ends. Super compact.
What other Sephora palettes have you tried? This is my first, although I think that Kat Von D shadows are made in the same lab as the Sephora ones since Sephora’s the brand that produces her line. (That’s what I’d hear though.)
These are gorgeous! I’ve honestly never tried the Sephora eye shadows, but I do love their brushes!
Thanks for sharing 🙂

I’ve only just recently started trying their brushes! So far, so good.
This is pretty! Not sure if you watch Grace Hielbeg but she used it in a recent video. I love the format with it sliding to the side
The sliding format is ridiculously cool. I used to watch Grace, but hadn’t in a long time. She just never did enough makeup stuff for my tastes!
Ooh what a wonderful neutral palette! I agree that matte shades are often missing, and I don’t always feel like having shimmery eyes every single time I do my makeup.

The older I get, the less I need (or even want!) shimmer everywhere! A whole look out of them is serious overkill on my face.
I’m with the majority here, never tried Sephora eyeshadows but gosh, this is a really lovely neutral palette and I like that a couple of matte shades are included.

My understanding is that the Kat Von D shadows are the same as the Sephora brand since they’re made in the same lab by the same people. So if you like Kat Von D, this should be the same!
Mattes are always appreciated. I’m so glad more brands are recognizing that.
