I got the Smashbox Santigold in a blogger swap via Julie of Swatch & Review. At first I was like “looks okay, but whatever, I have those shades”. Wrong. So wrong. The green and the navy are INCREDIBLE, and the plummy shade on the right that has gold sparkles? They actually adhere to the lid. What is this sorcery?!?
Seriously though, look at this photo from my Instagram from ages ago (disregard my phone’s quality as best you can, because you can still see how pigmented the shadows are!):
WOW. that green! stunning!

PS I know you often do challenge weeks or reviews or whatnot on the products in your swatch Sunday but it was fun to see the eyemakeup look included here (since I am assuming you’re not going to do a full review on a no longer available product). It really shows up off the shadows!

I’ll see if I can include it where possible. I don’t always remember each look I do (or use it that concisely… usually I pull in other shades, etc.), but I totally agree – it helps display what the palette can actually do!
I knowwwwww!
Yea that palette did NOT look like that on me. I am so glad you love it!

And I’m so glad you rehomed it to me!
The palette totally reminds me of spiderman, and the look you put together with it is (as always) freaking stunning!

Hah! The pattern really is like Spiderman! Too funny.
I didn’t expect the colours to be so pigmented. Gorgeous!
Yeah they surprised me too!
