I’ve got a LOT of Wet n Wild palettes up my sleeve, so be prepared for those over the next little while! This week’s beauty is the I Dream of Greenie trio.
A word to the wise, however. While this palette is gorgeous, it is also INCREDIBLY fragile. You can see how a lot of the powder has worn away above and I would say 50% of that is just from closing the lid and having the powder crack at that minute impact. It’s so sensitive to impact, that I actually had to throw it after I swatched it for this post. Granted, I had had the compact for several years, but it’s still worth mentioning. Beautiful colours, but incredibly fragile!
Wet n Wild I Dream of Greenie Swatches
So alll the way back in 2014 I created this look with these shadows:
Full details are in this blog post!
Ohh it’s super pretty! I haven’t actually seen this one before, which is strange! I love the crease colour!

I got it a few years ago, I wonder if maybe they’ve discontinued this one? Not totally sure.
I know you often don’t have a full look for one palette only but it is fun when you pair them together like this. I love that chartreuse, but some WnW is pretty fragile, I definitely broke a comfort zone palette in the past…

And that’s exactly why I put one up because you said the same thing the last time I did it so I decided to stick to it if I had some old photo I could remember doing! I’m glad it helps, and I agree that it flushes out the swatch post!
It seems like the more buttery and soft the shadows are, the more fragile they are. I want the great quality and blendability without the hassle of being so damn gentle with products. It’s such a pretty colour on you!

Yep exactly. Soft and buttery… and breakable. Ugh. But… I also hate hard packed eyeshadows so much that I’d rather have them be too soft. Still… totally frustrating!
The shades are way out of my comfort zone but beautiful at the same time. Love how pigmented they are, so it’s a shame the palette overall is so fragile x

Yeah, I mean it’s a $3 trio or so, so I did get a decent amount of use out of it. However, there’s no wayyyy this thing is even remotely travel friendly!
