Although I had never owned an Anastasia Beverly Hills palette before, I knew that the Modern Renaissance palette was going to be MINE!
It’s chockful of warm tones, namely a few RED shades. I can’t even express my excitement that makeup companies are finally starting to produce red eyeshadows in easily available commercial palettes. SO EXCITED!

Oddly, that KVD palette isn’t calling me as much. I don’t like that bulky packaging with the spot for that pot thing.

So I’ve been debating the merits of this palette, and the more I look at it, the more I want the damn thing. I’ve been feeling more playful again lately, and I this palette is so unique. I still want to go in and see it in person, but for now, it’s on the list!

It’s really, REALLY powdery. I still love it, but I know it may bother some people. Definitely go stick your fingers in it when you’re in Sephora though!
