Sucks about the payment situation! Weird. They need to get their priorities straight. Don’t except cash? Whatever.
Ahh! Trooper with the brush. My absolute favorite! I actually don’t own anything by KVD, except the Trooper (or, and the brown one).
I own a couple of Chikuhodo brushes (along the same lines as Hakuhodo, I believe). I have three for the face, and 2 or 3 for blush. Yes, ridiculously expensive. Surprisingly, the best one I like are not the softest gray squirrel ones, but half and half with goat hair. The squirrel ones are just too soft for most blushes and powders I have. So I felt like I had to really press and swish the brush, and I felt like I was destroying the gentle bristles. One word of caution on the brush you got — depending on the hair, it might be too flimsy for the gel eye liner. The gel always sticks and dries between the bristles, and if the brush is too soft, it’ll tear the bristles off. Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but I think some of the brushes (which are advertised as soft, gentle, bla-bla) are not necessarily right for some makeup. Someone pointed out to me that it was all the new American retailers that didn’t have cash/Canadian payments set up. Kind of makes sense I guess… but I hope they get their act together for next year!
Oh god, I may have made a bad purchase with that Hakuhodo brush then. When I compared it to the one I have at home I cannot BELIEVE how much smaller it is than my MAC brush. I’ll got gently with it and see how it goes!
Can’t wait for your Mystic look/cosplay !
Which reminds me I need to try out that blue face paint… hah oh boy. *finger crossed*
