Juvia’s Place has been blowing up online lately, so when I was in New York for IMATS 2017, I decided to pick up their Masquerade palette. Since this palette comes in both a small and large version, and I own more than my fair share of eyeshadow, I opted to get the mini version of the palette. I believe it normally retails for $25 USD, but I think I paid $19 USD at IMATS.
One thing I noticed while swatching is that the more neutral two bottom rows definitely swatch more colourful and warm than I was expecting. This was a hugely pleasant surprise to me, but it might be a bit of a shock for others. You’ll see what I mean in the swatches below. Enjoy!
Wow they actually do swatch a lot brighter than in the pan! Seems like a really great palette for incorporating colour! 🙂

I’ve been using it for a little while now and I’m always so surprised with much brighter the bottom shades come off on my eyes!
I’ve been lusting after these palettes for so long, the shades are STUNNING!
The price tags are also really reasonable which is sooo nice!
The colors are gorgeous. Do most of the shades have good color payoff ? I wondered if you swatched them over primer.
I never use primer for swatches! The colours have amazing colour payoff! So far the one I had the most trouble with on the eyes was the purple, but with a little bit of layering it ended up looking really good!
Oh holy pigmentation! Bori, Zola and Dalia immediately jump out at me! I cannot wait to see what you do with these!
I know right? And the palette was like $20! DRUGSTORES TAKE NOTE!
