The NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights has been on my wishlist for a very long time, so I was really happy to pick it up at Shoppers Drug Mart’s when I was sent a gift card to try out their online shop.
Sadly, none of the shades have names!

The colour above is completely accurate by the way. The pan had a dull grey coat on top, and the shade underneath was the swatch you see on the right. Surprised the heck out of me!

I was checking those out on the sdm website and I am confused by the third one listed, the Phoenix palette. I can’t find reviews or pictures of it anywheres else but it looks like it’s definately part of the line.

Good choice! I’ve wanted to try this palette for a while too, as well as NYX’s new suede matte lippies with those hearts on the tubes. NYX is a brand I want to explore a little more since I’m switching to more affordable makeup to save up for other things.
I’ve only tried it twice and I thought it was nice, but not mindblowing so far. I need to try it a few more times before I outright recommend it for sure.
