I had some Sephora Collection eyeshadows to play around with (there’s a video at the end of this post!), and I wanted to swatch them out and let you see how pretty they are! I find I often ignore Sephora’s house brand and I have REALLY got to stop doing that. They make wonderful products at a typically cheaper price point than some of the more common brand names that we’re familiar with.
Swatches
My Boyfriend’s Jeans: Shimmery royal blue.
Girl Talk: Peach with a lotttt of sparkle.
Friend’s Selfie: Shimmery pale lavender.
French Riviera: Pale yellow-gold.
Sweet Dreams: Shimmery baby blue.
Purple Stilettos: Mid-tone matte purple.
Picnic in the Park: Shimmery shamrock green.
Makeup Look
And here’s the look I came up with using several of those shades:
Makeup Tutorial
If you’re looking for a full tutorial, look no further than my most recently posted YouTube video. This is a talk-through tutorial as I play around with the colours.
And by the way, how freaking cute is the makeup bag in the first shot? Sephora has brand new Breakups to Makeups bags that you may be interested in! Also, their adorable holiday ones are also on sale now too!
Items mentioned in this post were sent to me for consideration.
Love that peachy Girl Talk but the formula on all these looks great! I am usually very impressed with the Sephora brand, definitely under-estimated by people in general I think.

lol one of the shades I didn’t use. It’s so underestimated, and I really don’t know why. I always seem to skip over it when I’m actually IN Sephora. Next time I need to make more of an effort to actually go peruse their selection!
Some great shades! I LOVE how you can take so many different things and combine them into a great look. That is a skill I’m really trying to build.

I think it took a long time to get used to putting colours together, and even now I tend to stick with colours that are similar enough (like blue and purple) together so it’s a bit more seamless. Whenever I try totally contrasting colours it never ends up looking too good. haha
These are gorgeous and the look you came up with is (as always) stunning!!
I recently picked up the Sephora brow pencil because they were out of my shade in brow wiz… and it’s seriously as good – and at least $10 cheaper. I’ll be checking out more of their line for sure, especially after seeing these swatches!

Oh wow! Good to know! Is the product relatively the same as the Brow Wiz? (Same size, etc.) I’d definitely be interested in trying that out!
same amount of product – and the pencil itself seems to be the same size – the only thing it’s missing is the really nice spoolie that brow wiz has… instead it has this tiny little 4 or 5 pronged brush – pretty useless, but if you already have a spoolie then it’s definitely worth it!

I’ll keep an eye out for it next time! I always laugh at those pencil with the 4 prong ends. Like what even is that??? haha
I really really need to try more of the Sephora brand! They do color well it seems!
And for a cheaper price point than most other brands too!
Oh, I love your look. Especially well done with the green one.
My favourite of all of these is girl talk.
Thank you! The shadows were really easy to work with. 🙂
Ah this look is just too gorgeous!
Thank you! <3
