I get a *lot* of questions in the brushes I use for my makeup looks, so I thought I would do a video on which ones are my daily staples. It was only after I filmed the video that I realized that every single brush was MAC and Real Techniques! I guess we know which brands have my loyalties!
For the Clinique cheek pops (or any ‘hard blush’), I actually use a stippling brush! (And oh man….I just realised I also own quite a few blush brushes–three stippling brushes and various fluffy ones, hah) And for highlight, the small or medium sized RT duo fibre brush. I didn’t think I’d find a use for that set, but they’re great for applying a sheer layer of product.
And man, in 20 years I would love to see which brushes have made it in my stash.
Interesting… it’s funny because I find Tarte a hard blush and have always used a stippling brush for those… and yet… I don’t know why I didn’t even try to use it on my Cheek Pops! I’ll give it a try next time!
