Hilariously, my first look ended up being a neutral look. This made me laugh because my friend Samantha had been pointing out how al the Too Faced Totally Cute palettes looks she had seen to date were neutral and not using any of the colourful shades. Well, the first look I did was neutral too! Haha! (If you want to see this makeup in action, I’m wearing it in My 105 Makeup Geek Eyeshadows Swatched video.)

I created the wing with QUO‘s micro tip liner in Brown and applied Make Up For Ever‘s Excessive Lash mascara to my lashes. I’m also wearing a pair of House of Lashes Au Naturale false lashes.

I made sure I did a look using the pink shade (I <3 TF) in the palette, although I have to say that Too Faced puts this kind of pink shade in sooo many of their palettes and it’s definitely not one of my favourite shades since I’m not really a pink girl! I did like how pink shade paired with my lips though, so that was a win!

For this look, I wanted to use as many eyeshadows as I could from the palette because I filmed this for my YouTube channel. I also did a gradient on my lower water line which I think came out really, really neat! (Full video tutorial here.)

Eyes

  1. Bunny Fu-Fu through the top of the crease.
  2. Clover on the inner half of the lid.
  3. Storm Cloud on the outer half of the lid.
  4. Unicorn on the inner corner of my eye.
  5. Double Scoop on the brow bone.

I lined my lower lash line with I <3 TF and added a little bit of Meow! to the outer corner of the lower lash line. To create the wing I used Kat Von D‘s Tattoo Liner in Trooper and coated my lashes with Tarte‘s Tarteist Lash Paint mascara. I also applied a pair of Bombshell false lashes by House of Lashes. I also used Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Liners in I-32 and M-92 to create a gradient on my water line.

This look was a super easy one because I wanted to show you how versatile Storm Cloud is as an eyeshadow because it has so much dimension that it basically blends itself out into a different shade in the crease!201608_toofaced_totallycute_look4.2

Eyes

  1. Storm Cloud over the entire lid and through the crease.
  2. Meow! on the outer corner to deepen up that area slightly.
  3. Unicorn on the inner corner.
  4. Double Scoop on the outer corner

I have Tarte‘s Tarteist Lash Paint mascara on my lashes.

Face

  • Foundation: Boots No7 Instant Radiance Cool Vanilla + Warm Ivory
  • Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil
  • Blush: Too Faced Love Hangover
  • Highlighter: Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow
  • Lips: MAC Stylist’s Tip

    1. I know right? It blends out so differently than most eyeshadows do… very unique for a single shadow (and great for a one shadow look!).

  1. It’s not a palette I would have paid any attention to but after seeing the colours on your skin tone, which is similar to mine, I may have to see if I can snag one of these! Thanks for taking the time to review!

  2. I love, love that clover colour. So pretty. And I agree with Lori’s comment above. It’s not something I would normally go for, but it looks great on you, and my skin tone is just a shade darker.

  3. You are absolutely beautiful and have a lovely blog. I’m so glad you are Canadian, like me 🙂 I love the eye looks that you do and wil be copying you for sure. I find that the boots #7 foundation looks the best on you (or I guess it could be the lighting) and not that you care but I think you look better without the falsies (not that I don’t love a good falsie). You just have such lovely natural lashes. Anywhoo, thank you for the eye looks!

    1. Hi Kathleen! Thanks for your sweet comments!
I totally agree about the Boots No7 foundation – I feel like it’s the most flawless looking on me. I try to ration it out a bit though since we can’t get it in Canada. 🙁 I have to wait till I’m either overseas, or someone else I know is visiting and can pick me up some bottles! So I try to mix it up and use other foundations at times.

As for the falsies, it’s totally a personal preference obviously, but I do tend to wear them for my videos so that my eyes stand out a bit more. So usually when I have falsies in a post it’s because I was also filming with that look on! 😉 As for my actual lashes, I think they’ve been greatly helped by RapidLash. I’ve been using it since… hmmm… about February? March? Something like that and I’ve noticed I have a heck of a lot more length than I used to!

      1. I didn’t even realize that boots was a uk brand. I hope I didn’t come across as critical. You rock every look that you do. I wasn’t aware of RapidLash. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the info 🙂 BTW, you’re reviews and seeing the makeup actually on you are a wonderful change. Do you happen to know any bloggers who have rosacea?

        1. Oh heck, you weren’t being rudely critical! You’re accurate anyway because I agree with you that the Boots brand does look better!

I don’t know if any of any bloggers who have rosacea off the top of my head, but I’ll check with my blogger friends and get back to you! Oh wow okay they were fast… I got a response as I was typing this out to you!

Julie of Swatch and Review has a little bit: http://swatchandreview.com/
And Megan of Megan Joy (http://www.meganjoy.ca/) talks about it a lot.

          Hope that helps!

          1. Thank you sooooo much Chelle! I’m going to check these guys out right now. You rock 🙂
            Have a fantastic day
