And here we go! My Too Faced Totally Cute Challenge Week hopefully shows you just how versatile this palette can be. For swatches of these eyeshadows, please see my previous Swatch Sunday post. This is a limited edition palette, so get it while you can!
Hilariously, my first look ended up being a neutral look. This made me laugh because my friend Samantha had been pointing out how al the Too Faced Totally Cute palettes looks she had seen to date were neutral and not using any of the colourful shades. Well, the first look I did was neutral too! Haha! (If you want to see this makeup in action, I’m wearing it in My 105 Makeup Geek Eyeshadows Swatched video.)
Eyes
- Bunny Fu-Fu through the crease.
- Shooting Star on the lid.
- Chocolate Donut on the outer corner.
- Double Scoop on the brow bone.
I created the wing with QUO‘s micro tip liner in Brown and applied Make Up For Ever‘s Excessive Lash mascara to my lashes. I’m also wearing a pair of House of Lashes Au Naturale false lashes.
Face
- Primer: Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow
- Foundation: BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting in Light
- Powder: Hourglass Ethereal Light
- Bronzer: Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in 25I
- Blush: BECCA Amaretto
- Highlighter: Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kim in Gleam (Starburst)
- Lips: Too Faced Melted Melon
I made sure I did a look using the pink shade (I <3 TF) in the palette, although I have to say that Too Faced puts this kind of pink shade in sooo many of their palettes and it’s definitely not one of my favourite shades since I’m not really a pink girl! I did like how pink shade paired with my lips though, so that was a win!
Eyes
- Unicorn on the inner third of the lid.
- I <3 TF on the middle of the lid.
- Meow! on the outer third.
- Double Scoop on the brow bone
I created the wing with Kat Von D‘s Tattoo Liner in Trooper and coated my lashes with Tarte‘s Tarteist Lash Paint mascara.
Face
- Foundation: Boots No7 Instant Radiance in Cool Vanilla & Warm Ivory
- Bronzer: MAC Refined Golden
- Blush: Illamasqua Hussy
- Highlighter: Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Skin Twinkle palette (Moonlight)
- Lips: NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait
For this look, I wanted to use as many eyeshadows as I could from the palette because I filmed this for my YouTube channel. I also did a gradient on my lower water line which I think came out really, really neat! (Full video tutorial here.)
Eyes
- Bunny Fu-Fu through the top of the crease.
- Clover on the inner half of the lid.
- Storm Cloud on the outer half of the lid.
- Unicorn on the inner corner of my eye.
- Double Scoop on the brow bone.
I lined my lower lash line with I <3 TF and added a little bit of Meow! to the outer corner of the lower lash line. To create the wing I used Kat Von D‘s Tattoo Liner in Trooper and coated my lashes with Tarte‘s Tarteist Lash Paint mascara. I also applied a pair of Bombshell false lashes by House of Lashes. I also used Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Liners in I-32 and M-92 to create a gradient on my water line.
Face
- Primer: Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating
- Foundation: BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting foundation in Light
- Powder: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light
- Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil
- Blush: Too Faced Love Flush blush in Justify My Love
- Highlighter: Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow
- Lips: Too Faced La Creme in I Want Candy with Mean Girls on the very center
This look was a super easy one because I wanted to show you how versatile Storm Cloud is as an eyeshadow because it has so much dimension that it basically blends itself out into a different shade in the crease!
Eyes
- Storm Cloud over the entire lid and through the crease.
- Meow! on the outer corner to deepen up that area slightly.
- Unicorn on the inner corner.
- Double Scoop on the outer corner
I have Tarte‘s Tarteist Lash Paint mascara on my lashes.
Face
- Foundation: Boots No7 Instant Radiance Cool Vanilla + Warm Ivory
- Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil
- Blush: Too Faced Love Hangover
- Highlighter: Too Faced Candlelight Warm Glow
- Lips: MAC Stylist’s Tip
For my last look, I wanted to use the heck out of Bunny Fu-Fu!
Eyes
- Bunny Fu-Fu all over the lid.
- Chocolate Donut on the outer third of the lid and through the crease.
- Meow! to deepen up the outer corner.
- Shooting Star on the inner corner.
- Double Scoop on the brow bone.
I used the Too Faced Sketch Marker in Chocolate Chip, Honey Dip (Espresso) to create the wing and coated my lashes in Tarte‘s Tarteist Lash Paint mascara.
Face
- Foundation: BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting in Light
- Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil
- Blush: Smashbox Culver City Coral in Rich Coral
- Lips: Smashbox Be Legendary in LA Lights
